Prior to having a church wedding, we have to attend the Marriage Preparation Course (MPC) organised by the church. guess, this is was a path which every christian couple requires to go through. before start of the course, we were ask to do a personality test (PEAKS) which denote as (P) Purpose (E) Energy (A) Affirmation (K ) Knowledge (S) Sustainability. i have done countless of personality tests so, i already have an idea on the results. results states my personality driven potential is related to Sustainability. which means i do very well responding to stressful situations in a calm secure & steady way. hur hur! agree to an extend..  aside from the results of each personality test, they also did a combination of the couple to see the compatiblity. and surprise surprise, we are........ Extremely compatible ! for a moment, i thought this was the SOP results for all couples until i peek at the couple results beside me. this is what i call a mat...

last wk, while in the midst work, recieved a msg from Dionne that she dreamt of Johan. the name sounds distant all of sudden & yet still a smile on my face. i almost forgot all abt this guy.. Johan was the guy whom we deemed as our fave boy during our sec sch days. we were in the same class throughout the 4 years of study. He wasn't exactly the most handsome boy (there are far many more). but he was the nicest boy we ever met. very gentleman! both Dionne & i have a crush on him back then. hahaha.. what we like abt him: - not rowdy as other boys. - very gentleman. stand up for the ladies. - one of the 2 boys in the food & nutrition class. went shopping for the hse in the last 3 days. glad that we already settled the aircon/ sofa/ dining set. have shortlisted the rest of the appliances which now HJP is tasked to do the price comparision & nego (ehh.. i already have enough from my job). anyhow, here's the sneak preview of the sofa (taken with my lousy phone cam). lurve it very muchie. this is a 3.5 seater. i guess its enough to fit the poly gang ladies nicely. also got an armchair of similar version. exclusively for HJP. i'll be taking this. hahaha.. the longer i sit, my butt is rooted to this sofa. we had a misunderstanding of what kind of material we wanted for sofa until we settled the payment. came across this pic on FB. the 1st reaction wasn't how gross the look of the patient. but, it reminds me how true it is in the spritual realm. somehow, it sets me thinking again did the angel bring grandma along or the otherwise.

Have been thinking the songs for my morning highlights video. . . HJP likes Jason Mraz - I'm Yours. i find it was too typical of a wedding song. XX once recomended The Last Good Night - Pictures of You which is quite to my liking.. did also consider The Ting Tings - Great DJ but it doesn't really match into the wedding atmosphere. but i like the "arh arh arh" portion. LOL! it was till i heard bro played Namie Amuro - Only You. Without much thoughts, i immediately have it nailed down. Lyrics is suitable for a wedding. plus ... i super love the tempo! ! i hope the co doing the video would able to get the licence of this song.

weeee! we have our honeymoon trip nail down! after much comtemplating, Lapland emerge as the winner. it was a close fight between New Zealand & Lapland. i want more nature this time round. both countries have their own share of beauties. but.... it was the Northern Lights & dog sleddiing which finally won me over. cos this will be only once a lifetime. which fits just nicely into wedding. and also to exprience the super cold weather in the North. * from google i love Greece Santorini but i believe we would be able to visit some day. just need to save up $ again. ask for advice from Swedish boss, he recommend to stop over at Stockholm & Copehagen as well. he strongly recommend the ice hotel for experience. did ask him would it be far if Prague was to be included cost this is one of the MUST go countries in my list. and he mention is only an hour flight from Copenhagen.. wee! you can't imagine i was grining like...

as the clock strikes 12 midnight, i'm another year older again. as i was on the way to work this morning, i tried recalling the memorable bdays i had spent. the 1st that came to my mind was the 10th bday. mama held a small celebration along the corridor which includes the neighbours. recieved handmade pencil case (a lot of cushion) & Enid Bylton books. this marks the 1st love of her books. another one was the 21st. no chalet or bday bash. it was a bbq celebration at the park behind my place with relatives & friends. but lots of work have to be done. booo! i love to have bbqs but the amount of work before & after is just too much. as the years go by, birthdays are now celebrate with dinners & candles blowing. wasn't a bad idea. but in my opinion it could be better. happy birthday to me :)

overdue post i bought a new cam just for the TW trip cos i need something light. bro's powershot was too heavy for me to bring around. was comtemplating between Lumix LX5 and Olympus XZ-1. in the end, i chose the latter. 毕竟我对它一见钟情. 果然，it did not disappoint me with on its the quality of photos. and lazy me set most of them in auto mode. hahaha.. here are some of its 作品. all pictures are taken under auto mode. no PS done. i super like the photos taken at 合歡山. this cam had absoutely captured its beauty. even the rock looks splendid. no regrets!

To survive 13 hours of flight to London wasn't an easy task. same day, we took a domestic flight into Edinburgh. total 14 hours on plane. excluding the time i was on the cabbie. my ass was sore with pain. it hurt after the 7th hour. tried not to check my watch every hour. cos it will make me feel even more miserable. i got excited whenever meals are served. not because the food is fantastic but serving meals indicates i'm getting closer to my dest :) many had asked if it was pre-honeymoon trip or asking what would be my honeymoon dest. so to answer, No it was not a pre-honeymoon trip (we aren't rich). the main purpose was his graduation. i'm still hoping going to Lapland for honeymoon but seems not really possible cos of the upcoming house renovation will eat quite alot into our budget. perhaps perhaps, Eastern Europe or New Zealand will be nice. tsk tsk. anyway, nothing has been nailed down. still subj to changes. ...

my long weekend settled the wedding band during the long weekend holidays. On Fri, dropped by the jewellery street at Ion. pop by Lee Hwa but nothing fancy us. saw a very beautiful pair at Soo Kee which was quite different from the usual wedding bands. i hardly come by designs which are pretty for the groom & bride. quite tempted to buy actually. then we move on to Goldheart (where we got the proposal ring) to check out. HJP fell in love with one of the rings cos of the comfort fit. i had a choice for a thicker or thinner (to wear it together with my proposal ring). shortlisted 2 of my choices to pair it up with his. final stop at Love & Co which is most expensive of all. over $5000  per pair (already burst my bgt by 2 times). also love it equally much as the first 2 pairs we saw. in the end, we decided on Goldheart. comfort fit & pretty are the main reasons of the selection. i told HJP, i own 3 stars (coincidentally it is also under the celestia...

today marks the end of Q1. usually, on every past qtr, i tend to ask myself "what i had achieved in the qtr". many times, i do not find answer. due to my job nature, i have to react 2-3 wks ahead. hence, time passed so quickly before i know its gone. ytd i asked 新老板 what was the answer of the pending question during the last year performance review. actually, i'm expecting an answer like "we are still looking into it" (this sentence gives me a feeling of being chuck aside). anyhow, the answer was still pending from the top mgt. i had honestly told him, my inital plan was to stay for 2 years. but due to the change of jobscope every year. i stayed. but foresee from now till then, it will be a standstill. express my interest to work in the logistics department. something diff. i could never relate what i learnt in sch to my current job. only by looking at the warehouses. anyway, the answer will be revealed 3 wks later.
