TPE trip - part 2 [hot spring @ 新北投 . YMS . Jiufen . Danshiu] though "auntie" came at the wrong timing, we still went for hot spring. its a die die must go place. reaching 新北投 新北投 MRT station looks very china in search of a cheap & good hot spring this was found outside on 1 of the hotels along the roadside this was the intended hot spring we planned to go. but after looking at the exterior, we decided to gave it a miss. hence we ended up at this hot spring hotel - 美代温泉 decent look & pricing. TWD 1000/hour with no extra charges & the room is all yours =) besides that, the room was big enough to accomodate at 5-8 persons. yup.. we went for the indoor hot spring. 3 tubs of diff temp. personally i prefer 冷水泉. . hahaha. . anyway i did not get to soak. only use the buckets available to rinse my legs & hands also went to Yang Ming Shan [YMS] though there nothing much to see. weather was windy & cool. suitable for trekking. we trekked at least 2.4km up & dow

TPE trip - Part 1 [pieces of taipei city] Welcome to Taiwan (o.o)v on Freego to hotel. big comfy chairs for the just an hour ride. the hotel - 明日大饭店 cosy little corner the building of Partyworld inside the building - looks a hotel recept leh.. 点歌machine. very cool hor. the keypad is to key in the serial no of the songs you wanted. save the effort to go thru looking by pages of songs/ singers. no feel while singing? try sitting on this chair. 3 of us 4am on the way back to hotel aft k~ing session. have you seen singaporeans q~ing for MRT? in TPE, there is. they are so systematic ! on 公车. there are too little handles in the bus plus the ride was so jerky that we thought that our hands will break soon if we set off for a longer journey. fares were paid only when we alight the 公车. i wonder how they calculate the fare. and i also dunno where are their exact bus stops. it seems that you can flag a bus out of nowhere. their traffic lights. very cute leh. one pole serving 2 directions. miram
