Jacky Cheung 1/2 Century Tour Concert this was the 2nd time i attended his concert. very much diff from the one i attended 3 years ago. each have its own highlights. love the oldies in the last concert. concert started with a short musical drama film & a song of his was represented each pharse of the love story. thereafter, it was much pretty of the usual concert style. this time round, not much oldies were sang, hybrid Broadway pop was injected which gave a new feeling. however, 1 thing for sure that he is able to bring out each song with a diff genre. 真的不亏是歌神。每首歌唱得令我如此的陶醉。 3 full hours of enjoyment! even better than playing thru my ipod. the best concert i ever attended!

TW itinerary finally done! here's the sneak preview: day 1 (thurs): downtown shopping/ 五分铺 part 1 day 2 (fri): xmd/ hot spring/ fave 马辣顶级麻辣鸳鸯火锅/ 师大夜市 day 3 (sat): 日月潭之旅/ music festival day 4 (sun): 鼎泰丰/ 五分铺 part 2/ 饶河夜市 day 5 (mon): 士林夜市part 1 day 6 (tues): 十分/ 九份/ 庙口夜市 day 7 (wed): 花莲 day 8 (thurs): 淡水老街/ 士林夜市 part 2 day 9 (fri): back sin as you can see, there's 1 day which nothing was planned. intended to put that day for impromtu activities. or i might encounter typhoon again which i have to shift my itinerary around? while arranging for accomdation the last few days, there's 1 person who left a deep impression. it was a guy named Wayne from the minsu i booked to stay in SML. initally i selected Love Home but due to payment has to be made by credit card, i decided to change to another. was searching through internet and found Laurel Villa (very much raved by the netizens & my selection). compared to Love Home, it looks more down-to-earth. my fave nail colour - OPI Sparrow Me the drama (under the pirates of the carribbean series) decided to keep my nails long after 1 of the mani/pedicure session with the girls. the main reason is to kick off my nails bitting habit.

Letter writting Started to arrange accomodation for TW trip since early this wk. below was one of the mail written in chinese (i have a few more!). in fact, i could use english to converse with the lady.. but had read thru the forums, the poor lady had to ask the guests or checking the dictionary for translation. so being nice irene, i decided to wrote her in chinese. it took me 15 mins to draft this mail. i'm comfortable in speaking but not writting. the last written when i was in sec sch... that was ages ago.. lucky me, due to frequent tel conversations with the taiwaneses & mainland chineses, i'm able to draft a decent one. cos i ever rem one time, i was being laughed when i say: 等一下，我在打回来。(cos we are so used to saying this) the correct version should be: 稍候，我在打回来。that was when, i decided to brush up my chinese standard. anyway, its exactly 2 months to the trip! yea!

this morning while washing up, i recalled the TW crazy times i had with my travel khakis. which could help but smiling to myself.. #1 (the most classic) we realised that each of our luggage went beyond 20kg after weighing (borrowed a weighing machine from the recept). that was like 12am plus. we started to think of solutions of how to carry our loot back. we even went to an internet cafe at 1am to check for the overweight charges! when we reached there, the PIC mentioned we are not allowed to share a com. and we had to beg & tell him, we need to check sth & would be done in 30 mins. after checking, we decided to courier back our stuff since it was the cheapest option. we headed back to the hotel. and by chance, YY asked me if i ever carry a 10kg sack of rice. cos her hand carry shows 10kg on the scale. i carried & dun felt that it was that heavy. it was then we realised, we had been reading IB instead of KG! #2 it was an outskirt trip to Jiufen. bus from train

i'm gettin excited again for my tw trip! esp the trip to sun moon lake! this is one of places i have been wanting to go. and the best part is .... my trip concides with 2011 Sun Moon Lake Music Festival . couldn't make it during the last time round. have read that TW actually held annual music festivals at the lake every year. i could imagine myself enjoying the music and beauty of the lake hopefully, it will end with fireworks. glee..... excited. excited.

i used to watch NDP every year on tv without fail. somehow the habit stopped a few years ago.. which i thought spending 2 hours in front of the tv is a waste of time. now, i just peeped every now & then. but i do still feel & proud being a TRUE BLUE Singaporean! unlike those whose IC are blue & claim that they are one of us. they never are and never will! cos we are born & breed here! i'm so disgusted by the swarm of FT. and still wanted to display our generousity when by accmodating their f***king disgusted habits. my sis was telling me that 2 mainland chinese sang "Home" during her sch national day celebration. the best part was, they went out of tune. i was asking her, why did her teacher selected 2 mainland chinese instead of true blue singaporean? utimately disgusted! Nevertheless, singing the national anthem has never fail to stir the emotions within me.

last sunday, i tried this yoga workout from fitness mag - Beat Stress, Weigh less . it looks super easy peasy from the video, but was really tough. it set my heart pumping fast after the 1st workout. initally, i thought the excercises are very much focus on leg strengthening cos i could felt my legs legs went jelly after i finished. surprisingly, it also work on the abs & hips which left my muscles aching till today. strongly recomended!
