i used to watch NDP every year on tv without fail.
somehow the habit stopped a few years ago.. which i thought spending 2 hours in front of the tv is a waste of time.
now, i just peeped every now & then.
but i do still feel & proud being a TRUE BLUE Singaporean! unlike those whose IC are blue & claim that they are one of us.
they never are and never will!
cos we are born & breed here!
i'm so disgusted by the swarm of FT.
and still wanted to display our generousity when by accmodating their f***king disgusted habits.
my sis was telling me that 2 mainland chinese sang "Home" during her sch national day celebration. the best part was, they went out of tune. i was asking her, why did her teacher selected 2 mainland chinese instead of true blue singaporean? utimately disgusted!
Nevertheless, singing the national anthem has never fail to stir the emotions within me.
