The HAEP i attended was drawn to a closure after 9 months. very mixed feelings throughout this period. many times, i was wondering what on earth i got myself stuck in this program when i had my daily job to do. the 3 wks in YMCA (1 wk per module) is enough to speed up my aging process by x100. mentally & physically drained. i have to admit it,i dread even at the point of checking into YMCA in the last module. questioning myself again, what on earth am i doing this. will i ever get a promotion aft this program (which many have asked). what transformation could i really see in myself?? however, it was later that i realised, i had a fantastic group in my project. no matter, how demanding the sponser of the project was, our group is always on the ball & sync to get the results. in fact, out of the 4 groups, my group was the most fortunate. during the wk, we only required to sharpen our ppt whereas others are still stuck in the research process. we are the earliest group to hit th...

1 wk of hectic training came to an end yesterday. compared to the last module, serious biz was discussed this time round. creativity and entrepreneur skills were very much focused. hitting the bed before 12am seems impossible. the earliest i slept was 1.30am.. the next day starts at 9am again.. and now my face are full of the 后遗症 (pimples/ enlarged pores). ewww... the most interesting part was hitting the road making a video (with our most crazy ideas) from scratch & interviewing 3 entrepreneurs (incl 1 from the white collar). the video making was super taxing and it zapped out all of our energy for the of the remaining wk. that night i slept at 3.30am.. interviewing of the young entrepreneurs opens a new horizon for all of us. though we could cook up some stories, but we could not learn anything in this way. and surprisingly... people are willing to help us.. though it was an intensive week, the bonding helps us to tide through the difficult times...

HAEP - module 1 (self awarness) jotting down while its still fresh in my mind... Day 0 (12 Jun) drag myself down to YMCA cos was having mixed feelings. thinking how would the week goes. room mate was a mainland chinese. a very nice lady. i was shocked when a bunch people (her reatives) greeted me when i entered the room. dinner with the other particpants who flew in from other asia pacific countries. broke the ice with chinese colleagues & some some locals (who apparently share the same office as me. but either i din see them before or those you-know-who-i-am & i-know-who-you-are). slept at around 11 plus to prepare for the next day. Day 1 (13 Jun) was introduced to 2 trainers - Scott & Bill. ground rules laid. sharing of indivdual experiences. in fact, those who shared are being questioned. this actually held me back from sharing from the first 2 days. good thing was, while others are being questioned, i'm constantly reflecting on myself. lessons learnt: * victim vs re...
