went shopping for the hse in the last 3 days.
glad that we already settled the aircon/ sofa/ dining set. have shortlisted the rest of the appliances which now HJP is tasked to do the price comparision & nego (ehh.. i already have enough from my job).

anyhow, here's the sneak preview of the sofa (taken with my lousy phone cam). lurve it very muchie.

this is a 3.5 seater. i guess its enough to fit the poly gang ladies nicely. also got an armchair of similar version. exclusively for HJP. i'll be taking this. hahaha.. the longer i sit, my butt is rooted to this sofa. we had a misunderstanding of what kind of material we wanted for sofa until we settled the payment.
HJP wanted leather. i prefer fabric cos its not easy to trap heat. but i din know that his leather refers to PVC leather -.-|||. but anyhow, its already bought. hehehe.. too late for him to regret.

also like this chair very much. full leather. definately able to fit into our modern victorian theme. wanted to match it with the dining table but cost $360 each which is ermm... a lot more ex...
hence, we settle for another design which also fits into the theme as well. but i'm still psycho~ing HJP to get one to match his study table which looks like below:

very matching right!! some more it is very comfy.
did not snap one for dining table. but its also one of my fave piece as well..

moving on to appliances, we got Sharp system 3. wanna get panasonic or Daikin. but, Panasonic changes their models very quickly which we afraid they might be spare parts if it breaks down years later. Daikin is ex than others being the premium brand in the industry. did not get Mitsubishi cos its more ex than Sharp/ Panasonic & we do think its much better cos we are paying more for the advertising costs. as for the rest of the appliances, its a mixture of brands

washing machine: Bosch or Brandt
twee: samsung
oven: Bosch
vaccum cleaner: Bosch (the main criteria i look for is the hose & only Bosch has it)
fridge: Hitachi (wanted Panasonic but the freezer compartment locates at the bottom).
