Retreat to Amara with Botan treat

hjp & i checked into Amara hotel on thurs for a 2-nights retreat. i was excited cos i get to savour my fave hawker food again.

besides the king size bed, i also love the toilet.. whahaha

cos i like its layout. a separate shower & bath tub.

for those who knew me, i used to work in this area where delicious & yet cheap food (such as carrot cake with lots of "chai po"/ macaroni soup/roast duck rice etc can be found. i also came to know abt the legendary muffins too.

the coffee & walnut is also not bad too. smell damn nice which keep tempting me though i'm not a coffee lover.

me caught by hjp slurping away soup late nite (i had this habit of having cup noodles for supper when i'm overseas or overnight stays)

i had been eating alot for the past few days. . .



i got my Botan treat from hjp too.

Botan is situated along one of the shophouses in China sq.

his sashimi & tempura set. i also want to order this but changed my mind for a better one.

it supposed to be mixed sashimi but i changed to sake



the other side which also include into the bento. mashed potato & teriyaki chic.

its potato salad has chunks of carrot & the cucumber slices had made it crunchy too.
taste a little sweet unlike the usual potato salads.
