Feb updates

it has been a long long time since the last update.

since today is the last day of feb, i might as well did the updates once & for all.

this explains why i named this post as Feb updates.

mmm.. lets start with the brightest moon in feb or rather in the last 50 plus years which was on the 15th day of the lunar calender which is also the chinese valentine day.

that day, the sun was also blazing hot & especially shining brightly. i could see the rays round the yolk. too bad can't took a pic cos i was on the bus back home. however, i took a few pics on the moon.

took it from my kitchen window. the 2nd pic was the zoom-in version. i guess i'm fortunate enough to witness a few important or special events in my life.eg: the crossing to 2000, the brightest moon etc..

no celebration on the chinese valentine day. but yy & the gang decide to hv a steamboat session at min's place on the 14th Feb. too bad merv was too busy to make it. also recieved a pressie from hjp. though not expensive, it made me up jump with joy. cos its an E.T. i used to own one when i was young but lost it in one of the provision shop as i carry it wherever i go..

when he asked me to make aguess. my 1st ans was takeshi kaneshiro poster.. wahaha..

also got Jacky's dvd as well. but is his performance at HKG in dvd.

initally wanted the SIN performance, in the end chose the HKG cos i already watched his SIN performace last year.

feb is also one of the relax months cos there's only 16 working days =)
went to bkk with my family.. ya bkk again...
there's alot of hiccups/mis-understandings along the way which i had the urge flying back to SIN.

but i still enjoy the trip, not as much as compared to the last few.

other than the usual shopping, went to the popular floating market - Damnoen Saduak & visit the Thai temple. there's nothing much special about them. perhaps i'm that kind of person who enjoys sight-seeing. however i dun mind doing sight-seeing in europe/ taiwan or japan.. muahaha..

it was 2 hrs drive out of BKK. 4 hrs of travelling time (to & fro) -.- and spend my time zzzz in the van..



the old folks brought a bunch of bananas. the colour looks so nice & the taste was superb as well. Thai fruits are superb cos their sweet!!! even their pineapple tasted the same.



we also realised that Thais are damn creative. their tv advertisments are far much better than SIN ones. do a search in youtube & you will know.

before i forget, let me introduce the gang.

the Thai temple visit. nothing much to comment except that their worskship is very 精致

papa discovered one small eating place during one of the free & easy slot.
it was located near the hotel which we were staying at.



the interior of the eating place. it was actually one of the shop houses located along streets near the main road. they have 2 diff pricing - one for the locals & the other for foreigners. the food suits my taste buds cos i dun really enjoy their local food except for their tom yum goong. i love its omelette especially.



the omelette. its not as oily as it looks.
the fish cake was bought from one of the road stalls. also not bad.

also not forgetting my loot.



most of them are last min shopping.
bought a lot of sleeveless & 1 bag of panties this time round. hehehe. .
some gifts to stock up for xmas from naraya

i guess its not that much. cos my 1st 2 days was already burnt.

last but not least for feb updates is i HAD PASSED MY JLPT 4! ! ! (o.o)v
congrats to zhen also.. =)



was disappointed with my listening but i'm glad i did well for vocab & grammar (the hardest of all)

i'm going to take level 2 next year.

and not forgeting to thank God for His blessings =)
