just as i was telling jenny that her blog had been stonning since her last entry on the hello kitty toaster she bought from taiwan, i found myself yet to update mine.. hehe... anyway, i had already accept the fact that i failed. thanks for the concern & encouragment =) i had a consolation meal from jenny. we had korean steamboat @ the nearby resturant for lunch.. *thumbs up* looks hot & spicy. and indeed it is... the side dishes.. & guess which is my fave????? dada! that brownish round thingy.. those are baked potatoes with syrup.. my share. simply love the noodles.. but reminds me of the korean packed maggie mee... what does remind u of? looks kinda familar? the 3 of us almost concluded that this bowl of water is for washing our hands. cos this often appear on the tables of seafood resturants.. haha.. in the end, the waitress told us that it was a desert. how ignorant we are.. a special kind of desert which i could not make out what is the taste couldn't make out wat ...
fail. fail. fail. i had failed.. i was extremly disappointed with myself. everything was fine for the last 2 days. what happened? i have pinned so much hopes on this and now its all dashed.. perhaps i should not pinned so much hopes in the first place. how can the tester let private students to pass so easily... after the test, i started to laugh @ myself, people like elena who is good in everything could fail and who am i to think that i can pass within the 1st attempt??? sigh... i appreciate the kind gestures by my collegues esp jenny & simon. i could get a treat from them whether i pass or fail. yah, this treat will be a consolation meal instead of a celebration. but anyway thanks =) another thing, i'm sick of my work.. to put it correctly, i love my job but hate those sickening people. people just dun understand the meaning of wait & tight. perhaps i should get them a cambridge on oxford dictionary. which one is better?? if your cargo is urgent & could not afford to...
wish me luck
deprived of choco.. when can i have them again????
saturdays are usually the best days for me to replenish my beauty sleep.. but unfortunatly, i was unable to do so for this wk. i went for my driving lesson early in the morning. to my surprise, my instructor had something on & in the end his friend replaced him. i thought that i could drive as per normal. but...... this friend of his started talking from the point we got into the car till i finished my lesson. i was thinking to myself, could you stop talking to me?? i need to concentrate!! argh... Just point out my faults & shut up. the worse thing is that he taught me the theory using chinese. i mean those "piao zun hua yu" i'm so used to listen to turning right & left in english. you could say that i'm not well versed in chinese. cos i'm used to talking in rojak language (chinese+ english+ dialect). after my driving lesson, i went back to office. i was being "zhao hui lai"on fri. (sounds like wandering spirits) in fact, its not only me, my ...

another 2 of my friends were called up to serve our beloved singapore. had a farewell gathering with them.. 21 feb (with kz & kl) i look so ugly in this pic =( self taken pic.. our skills not bad rite.. hahaha.. gotcha! looks like he is more vain than us.. shld take more pics.. cos you will be botak when you go in.. wahahaha.. look like couple hoh... but in real life, they hardly see eye to eye.. haiz.. thats y i always caught in the middle btw the 2 of them sometimes wonder what make the friendship btw them still going strong.. big. bigger. biggest as for another friend, merv, will upload the pics sometime later. i'm just plain lazy.. wahaha
feeling down was browsing thru the local universities' webbies. NTU & NUS had closed their applications. left with sim.. haiz.. darling suggested to take UOL since sin recongised it. but the problem there's no logistics courses. i want to study logistics & shipping related degrees!!! the worst thing was he asked me to take a UOL online degree 1st which he indicated that it only cost $6000+ .. and upo hearing this, he got a scolding from me. i rebuked him that if he provide me with the money, i dun mind to study something that doesn't interest me. and that shut him up immediately..
came across this webby while surfing the net. it would be a great help for those who love to cook & experience new dishes. it ranges from appetizers to deserts. it also provides recipes for diatbetics.. but 70% of the recipes are westernized. the others are chinese. another plus point for this webby is that most of the ingredients can be found in s'pore. http://www.cooksrecipes.com/
i was pretty affected what his dad commented on the french beans. he said that it was uncooked. i was like huh??? the beans already turned greenish. perhaps, instead of uncooked, it should be crunchy plus the fact it was quite bland cos his family preferences are more to bland.. i felt so INDIGNANT!!! i was telling myself that you had yet to taste my stewed pork fried bee hoon. i can cook alot of dishes to make all of you go "wow"! I start cooking since i was ten. i needed to look after my bro & took care of his meals as my parents were busy working. This also applied to my sis too. Ever since, she had learnt to chew, she also ate the food i cooked. it was until my mum decided to stay @ home & i stopped cooking. you can say that i'm prideful or whatever but i am fuming with anger... luckily mummy cooked my fave herbal drumstick, which somehow help me to cool down. she is the sweetest mummy in the world. she always cook the dishes whenever i commented that i had n...

While i was doing my spring cleaning the other day, i found something that stirred my inner emotions... it was a neo print book that i bought it when i was in my sec sch days... my precious 3 neo print books i still remember vividly that taking neoprint stickers was a trend then. everyone would rather spent it on those stickers rather than on their food. i'm also one of them. hehehe.. how i wish, i took alot more to make them a collection.. those were the days.. i like the one with the heart. till now, i still think that it was beautifully taken. the girl beside me was my best friend. we took it on the 9th year of our friendship. i still could recalled where i took this sticker. it was none other than Junction 8 =) on the extreme left is also one of my fave.. taken with my dear esther.. of all stickers, i simply love this. i dunno why. perhaps its because of my hair. i got it "heavily" layered. as for my fringe, i just use a hairclip to hold it up. mmm.. had a sudden urge...
i'm planning a trip to taipei for my 21st birthday. tsk tsk. instead of spending 1000 over bucks on chalet, i rather invest it in my taipei trip. i know it sounds way far too early to plan for this trip. but i need to save money. i'm going to comb all the shops. wahahaha.. actually planning to go on the 3rd jul. but sad to say, i have to finish my monthly report before 13 of every month. sob.. sob.. no chance of blowing the candles in taipei. nevermind. i plan to go on 14th jul (hehe, immediatley after finishing my report). and the one who accompany to go is none other than my sweet silly hubby *grinning*
if i were given a time machine, i would choose to go back to my sec sch days. if i ever lost my memory, i hope that it would not be erased. those golden days will always be embeded in my heart.
went shopping spree on both fri & sun. i was like a little girl who went grinning from ear to ear. i could grab whatever i wanted without worrying how much it costs. here's a list of things i brought: 1. u zap (for myself) & i squeeze (for mummy) 2. levis lady cut jeans 3. iora skirt 4. optical mouse for my co pc hehe.. finally recieved my precious moments bible from my dear sweet silly hubby. i promise you that i will read it & surprise you with all bible verses & teachings =) lalala...

i actually intended to leave this blog for good. simply too lazy to do anything about it. mmm..let me see when's my last post.. 27 dec 2005.. actually not very long since i last update =p this past 2 weeks, grandma had been staying over @ my place ever since she had discharged from the hospital. i guess only my sis & dad did not seem to be in favour abt it. sis kept having complaints (sometimes i wish that she just stop all her rantings).. while dad just put on his "justice bao" look. i really dun understand why dad had those STUPID THINKINGS. i mean real stupid! he assumes that sons SHOULD look after their parents while daughters are just minor roles.. if so, i hardly see him visting grandpa when he was around. the only time he went was he was near his deathbed. whats the point!! i wish that i would knocked that stupid thinking out of his head! my grandma had 8 children in total. out of which, 4 are sons. 1 was given away while he was young as the family was too poor...

on 22 nov, i recieved an email while i was busy with my work. it created a big hoo- ha in both the transhipment & my dept. at last, i finally had the time to read it. it was an invitation to a bintan trip. i wasn't feeling excited at all. i knew the date was going to be fixed on 3 & 4 dec which i was not free. initally i had made up my mind that i'm going to give it a miss. yet, after browsing through the resort webbie, i was tempted to go. on the 3 dec i have to attend dear's friend church wedding which i had promised him long ago. i knew i could easily told dear that i decided not to attend the wedding. but a promise is a promise. it must be kept. the good news for this trip was eveyone in the co has been fully sponsered & we could actually invited our friends to join (provided each indiviual has to pay 250 bucks). in fact sounds good right? if dear dun have any church wedding invitation, we could use this opportunity for a retreat. but sad to say its just a w...
