hey peeps, i'm back from taiwan. this trip was really a blessing in disguise. weather was cool. temp ranging from 22-26 degrees. occasional drizzling every now & then but umbrella was not needed =) the ppl are so nice to go an extra mile when we ask questions. food was not very much to my liking. but i was deeply in love with their 珍珠奶茶/the intestine in 阿忠面线 (QQ & no smell)/ 萝卜糕/ all time fave mutton soup & 竽圆 from 九份。 eslite bookstore was another good place to chill. the books i wanted are selling damn cheap comparing to kinokuniya. got the HKG guide book with the intention of going back next yr.. whahaha.. MJ & fasio products are a steal cos they are selling cheap. on top of that, there's further discount & rebate. 3 boxes of 我的美丽日记。in fact, i was thinking to get a few more, but my lugguage were filled to the max. comfy boots came along while on the way back to hotel during the last min shopping. overall, it was a good experience (be it weather/ ppl/ food...

パパとムスメの７日間 aka Switch this drama had been lying in my hard disk for ages. it was actually bro's recommendation. so decided to finish it up the last wkend. shortest drama i ever watched besides Liar game. in fact i was glad the story is in 7 episodes as i will find it too boring if it was the usual 12 episodes. This home comedy tells the story of Kyoichiro (Tachi Hiroshi) and his teenage daughter Koume (Aragaki Yui). One day, the two ride a train together after visiting Kyoichiro's mother-in-law. メイちゃんの執事 supposedly to watch it during my board flight to TW but din do it anyway. hence, decided to finish it since i'm so free during the wkends. i reckon this drama is much much better than 花より男子(though very diff storyline). it falls under the 梦幻 category. initially, i found the storyline was abit -.-!! cos you never get a handsome bulter who is at your beck & call in real life. but.. sometimes its still good to soak urself in this kind of fairytale-like dramas once in a while. from the last post, i guess most of you should know i din managed get to go tw. all thanks to typhoon morakot. in fact, i knew that the typhoon was approaching on the day before but i never knew that it would result in cancellation of flights (which i should have anticipated earlier). i recieved a sms from Jetstar informing the flight cancellation. i thot that it wasn't real which took me a few sec to digest it. indeed i was disappointed (though in the 1st place i din showed much enthusisam). i was glad that i wasn't in tw a day before but on the hand, i hate the fact why the typhoon had to hit at this point of time (ya, which i knew now is the monsoon season). anyway, met up with the ladies to decide on what is the next available date since we went for a full refund instead of changing to another date cos we will be busy aft this wk.. & needed to pay the diff we change the dates. i told hjp that i dun mind dying there cos i get to eat alot of good food before i die. hahaha...

Penang my 1st time wearing a mask. hjp commented i looked like a ninja turtle -.- si mon say that i was too extragrating to wear a mask for the 1 hr flight. but its better to be safe than sorry. the hotel we stayed in georgetown - Cititel and the resort we stayed during our last night - Hydro majestic i intended to have a swim in the pool. who knows my goggles gave way before i start. hence, sat ard to soak in the sun (w/o sunblock - was a BIG killer to my skin) & people-watch. i love both the outlay of the rooms. at least the quilt covers are white. unlike those traditional malay flowers design. the only place of interest (POI) i visited was the peranakan house cos of its rich culture.. usually i skip POI when i went holidaying. entry per pax is RM 5 with a informative tour guide. cheap cheap. we managed to get there by foot *big applause* the sun was hard at work that day & it was ard 30 mins walk from our hotel... & we almost lost our way. the entrance of the house. the ...
