Last entry of 2007 i was asking hjp what was his greatest achievement in 2007 the other day. me: is it completing your master? hjp: no.. is keeping my monster gf. me: huh? so jiat liat meh?? so do you intend to keep this monster in 2008? hjp: mmmm... i'll try to do the same on what i had done in 2005 - 07. have been turning in early ever since i finshed watching witch yoo hee. but the sleeping late regime will start again if i found a new drama to watch. so for the time being, my 黑眼圈 is still under control. guess the only way hjp could make me go to bed earlier is telling me dark circles have worsen. every year christmas had been always quite laid back. so this year is still very much the same.. except for one year, watching sunrise with my friend. the fave pressie i got this year was 小吉's poopoo from si mon followed by winter make up collection from di recieved a clutch from min. haven't start to think how to use it. i'm so used to carry big bags cos i simply dump everything in when i'm running late. also recieved lots of edible stuff. so i will be munching all the way during office hours. new year resolutions for 2008 had been set 1. random updates 1. batam trip went for a retreat to one of the nearby islands - batam. nothing much over there but the toiletries are damn cheap!! and my main task over there was to 喂蚊子. but overall, its a good place to relax if you want to do nothing but master the art of nua-ing. its not sunset yet & the sambal chilli that both of us love suitable for mastering the art of nua-ing i lived in this atap house. but its not "lok" happy 3rd anniversary to us. & someone dunno how to spell the word - anniversary the only shopping mall we visit those in the basket belong to his. the remaining are mine. whahaha they are not sweets. but fruity bars of soap. watched warlords. 大哥是对的！ and 我的选折也是对的! cos the seats are so much wider and comforatable than GV. 2. jap course signed up for the jap course at jcs. lesson commences on 12 jan and its on every sat mornings. so no more late fri nights for zz again. and completing the jap course will be one of 2008 resolutions. 3. silkpro v...
met up with qq & yy for dinner at たまこ (tamako). a place with bad memories but nice food. i was feeling damn down before we reached there. the incident kept flashing back to my mind. somehow or rather, i hope to see that person again. anyway enough of that. here's some food for thought. i love the ｳﾅｷﾞ(unagi) sushi. forgot what fish we had. but its definately fresh! all of us had don as main dish. terriyaki chix (qq) unagi (yy) beef (zz) caught the golden compass aftermath. one thing, i must comment: the bear's 屁股好大喔!! 哈哈 ben & jerry is looking for assistant retail manager. mmm.. can i apply?? if i got it, i will have loads of choco fudge brownie.. and of course growing sideways. *drools*
JAL called me this afternoon in midst of my work. and of course i was surprised. but i dunno whether it should be classified a good or bad news. the lady asked me if i was firm that i would be available on Mar 2008 cos their training would start in Feb. well, i had to tell yes i can't leave my current job due to bonus (of course i din told her the bonus part). so in the end, she told me to try again on the next opening. and that will be 1 year later cos i'm going for jap lessons & of course i wan to take JLPT test (level 4 - the most basic). at least, it look better in the application form. overall, i'm still happy cos at least i knew that i'm qualify for their interview instead of no news being heard.
at last, i smell weekends drawing near. it has been a boring + tiring week. took leave on wed to JB for a shopping retreat. however, it did not turn out to be enjoyable as i thought to be. the vincci shoes i wanted did not have my size. in the end, settled for a pair of sandals instead (better than none). as usual, curry fish head for lunch, hjp wanted kfc but end up having marybrown instead. secert recipe for high tea treat and teppan yaki for dinner. as always, retail therapy damages my pocket. other than misc expenses, bought: 1. mng bag 2. sandals (vincci) & slip-ons 3. hello kitty mouse (since i got my keroppi stickers for my lappie so must 配合) 4. mushroom paper clips 5. cd for ah ma saw yoshi figurine. but selling very ex =( got my bmm & orangebear purchases from KL. was quite disappointed though. i actually ordered 2 of the same tops with diff colours -.-" i thought a different serial = different design. plus all the description are in traditional chinese. so lesson...
today qq ask both me & yy a qn. what do see yourself in 5 years time? i never ponder or even think of this question before. qq wanted a standard answer that an interviewee would give. how boring.. sometimes i really start to think do i always "带塞" other ppl?? from the day i transferred to this dept, there's never one day that would be smooth going. or should i say since last dec?? every month i put in my best effort to do the reports. ensuring that i would not make the same mistakes as i did last month. somehow there would be still revision. sometimes i just want to bang my head against the wall & die. si mon was saying how time flies and is going to be end nov soon. however, i had a different say. i can't wait this year to end & mar to come soon....
was browsing thru the d&d peektures & realised the 1 i like most 是和我最讨厌的人和拍. how sad. the best part is no one will even suspect i dislike the person when they saw this photo =P hjp 说得对。no matter how sulky my face was, i'll put my 招牌 smile when i took photo. have been rotting at home. finished watching attention please on crunchy roll. what's next? any reccomendation? i'm so broke this month. dun even know where my money had gone to. the only culprit that i remebered was the malacca trip & jacky cheung concert tix. spend near $200 on the footwear & bottoms. $168 for the concert tix. but i'm not a 败家女 =P the 白木耳甜汤 recipe as requested by si. ingredients need: 1. white fungus 2. red dates 3. wolfberries 4. apricot seeds (for the crunchy taste) 5. yellow rock sugar steps: a. soak (1) until. wash and remove the stem. b. rinse (2), (3) & (4) . c. put them into the slow cooker & add boiling water. d. time needed: 2-3 hours. e. add (5) to taste.

went orchard for shopping with KL yesterday. i would say it was REAL shopping. we combed almost every shop. which as a result my legs needed i-squezze when i reached home. got a pair of skinny jeans & earrings. congrats to me that i did not spend much considering that there were so many stuff which tempted me to buy. almost went into the wrong toilet 2 rows in a week. andy said i was really really blur. but sometimes i really did not see the signs ma. and i finally confirm that my legs went slim again =) so have to continued the hard work of climbing up the stairs and brisk walking whenever i can!
D&D @ melaka was pretty enjoyable. i was supposed to attend a wedding dinner on that day but i chose the latter. added another 2 new pairs of shoes to my collection.. got a pair of jeans and skirt from SEED too. and the skirt cost much more than the jeans, and i still could not figure it out why. and i'm going to get their membership card since i patronised them every now and then. i wonder what could stop a girl/ woman from buying shoes/ bags & clothes. won a 150 bucks taka voucher. together with those KL had gave me on my bday, got a total of 210 bucks. still dunno what to buy. caught a movie during the trip - 30 days of night. recommended to those who love horror and thriller movies. but it has not screened in singapore. so you hv to wait. or just make a trip down to JB & watch. since the movie tix is so much cheaper than sin.
have been wanting to update but too lazy. 1. 梅子 jelly from taiwan a must buy when visit taiwan. love the crunchy 梅子 2. PSA port visit port visit for the 2nd time. get to see how they actually load the containers. there's 1 thing i must comment is the handing of containers is really rough.. now i understand why logistical packaging is so impt. 3. concert at esplanade was there for a choir concert. nothing much to comment. but i would say i still prefer orchestra and classical music. 4. collagen for you? tried the original the first time. prefer the rose flavour. nice packaging but not-so-nice taste. 5. 白木耳甜汤 got the recipe from magmag on the white fungus dessert. cooked for hjp since he was so stressed out on his diss. and i did not cook him a single dish when we got together since 2 years ago. taste quite good for the 1st attempt. even ah ma say so.. hehe a very nutritious dessert as it is equivalent to bird nest. try it if you hv the time =)
my lunch partner is finally back. no take-aways from lau pa sat for the time being. somehow today's mood wasn't good though i smell weekends are drawing near & my co has offically given us half day off tml. while i was alone, thoughts such as: what can i do & contribute to this society. i'm neither pretty nor clever. so where do i stand? ans: nowhere. yes. i do not have confidence in myself. till now i had yet to complete filling up the application form for my dream job. it was my childhood dream. i want to fufill it but i just couldn't bring myself to furnish the last few details. those who knew it had encourage me & their encouragment means a whole lot to me. right now, i think i should give a shot since jal has an opening. wish me luck.
got a new top from zara while shopping yesterday. the last piece i got from there was a dress which cost 89 bucks. in fact it was a gift. but i paid this top using my own money. abit ex for my liking considering it is quite ordinary. but i need something to pamper myself with my 13th mth. actually i was thinking if this should named as a top or dress. dress for someone who is short. top for someone who is tall. but for sure i'm going to match it with a pair of jeans or some other bottoms. see my slender legs.. hahaha.. have i slim down or have i not?

i'm so lazy to blog nowadays. life is still the same.. boring and sian x 10000000. 1. got my co pc changed. its Dell. not HP. SSL is not that rich. nevertheless quite satisfied. i no longer own a "lao po car" but a "ferrari" now.. hehe.. asked a stupid question when my colleague was changing the pc. me: wow, the monitor so high (reminds me those desktops i saw in the national library). colleague: not high la.. can adjust 的.. gathering of the Kohs met up up with my cousins for dinner. the last time i saw them was cny. crappy jokes and updating of each other's life over the dinner. hope that we will be still as close as 10 years later when we have our families. d&d theme was retro. my 1st reaction was sian 1/2. it was then i knew why jas hated d&d. i told hjp abt it. he assumed that i'm get one pieace for the d&d -.-" ah ma admitted to hospital again. i told her when she discharged, i'm going to buy loads of teochew operas for her. and she smiled which also made me =)
i wasted my leave today! the purpose of taking leave is bro's pop. but.. 1. papa came back at 10. the pop suppose to start at 10.30am which means he din attend at all. reason being he wear bermudas. 2. also took the chance to change my passport photo. but when i got there, there's a newspaper article saying that changing of photo is not allowed for non-biometric passports wef 1 sep. and mine is a non-biometric. what a wasted my trip. argh...
