back to work for 2 days & i'm sighing away like no biz which is definately not a positive sign. at times.... i felt - i had not tried hard enough - why is the use of trying - just want to throw in my letter. had one of the 无聊 conversations with ET ytd.. it goes like this aft i fwd her an email containing my frustration. Me: complicated or not? (in the email) ET: where got.. so simple to understand (in a scarastic way). then she continue... ET: 这两个人不喜欢 each other. 等着看戏吧 Me: hah! i just want to finsh my work peacefully leh. i'm not working in the cinema. ET: then i'm the shit cleaner in the cinema toilets. Me: mmm.. then i'll be the one clearing popcorns/ leftover snacks in the theater. i'm eagerly waiting for my Mar increment & Apr bonus. i want to see how much truth it contains in my appraisal.

another 1 more day, i'll be back to work. sianess x infnity. yawnzz.. been to the new place during the leave days. checking/ reporting defects. never underestimate the checking of defects portion. the task had zapped all of my energy. there will at least 1 more round after the retification... omg.. i have to admit age is indeed catching up.. felt the aching. boo hoo! nevertheless, CNY was a good time to catch up with cuzzies. had much laughter & sharing. not forgeting the feasting portion. "stole" the delicious ong lye tart recipe from my relative. will try out after moving into the new place. had a fair share of SB as well. homecooked SBs are always the best with thick broth. *drool* guess i'll be busy till Q2 with the hse renovation. now bz sourcing for ideas/ contractors. concurrently, also need to check out the airfare deals for TW. zZzz..
collection of keys on thurs. dropped by on sat. was in awe how spacious the living room was. there's also another space for dinning area. geez.. was a little disappointed with the mbr cos of the awkward shape. inspection will start after cny. cos i'm lazy.. hahaha will take more pics in the next visit. cos HJP forgot his cam ytd :| the living room. loving it
HJP graduation date is finally out - 9 May 2012. will be flying over to London with him for his graduation ceromony. also have a mini tour in the neighbouring countries. excited? mmm... not really leh.. cos it will zap away a lot of my leaves. perhaps, i'll be excited when the day draws nearer. on contray, i'm quite looking forward to the majestic old churches and the Cambridge building. guess, i will go "wah"... weather in may: Spring with temp ranging from 11°C to 15°C.. niceee temp & i could bring all my leggings and stockings (light travel) with my trenchcoat.. tsk tsk.. anyway, the best part of this trip is air tic sponser by HJP (i used my nego skills @ work) & i dun need to plan itinerary! 1st time ever! hahahaha..
pre-wedding bridal shoot - done. the shop which won me over: Bluebay （蔚蓝海岸） means i'm gg to the land of 炸鸡扒again :) now left (i meant those stuff which need to settle fast & early) - AD VG. church venue - leave to HJP. thereafter, have to start looking into small tiny details.. which i guess is the most tiring portion. yet to decide who is my maid of honor/ sisters/ colours of their dresses/ invitation list/ church invitation cards/ AD itinerary etc etc.. and also not forgeting my tic to TW!
Holy Dec this dec i have been to church quite frequently. besides on the baptism course i signed up, but also the combined choir practice. yes.. can't believe that i actually sign up alone! i completed my baptism course & of course gone through the batipsm last thurs as well. initally, i signed up the course for a selfish reason. to be a member so that i could hold my wedding in church next dec. but somehow, God touched me subtly.. real subtle. to be honest, i did not enjoy much singing hymns. but thru this course, i fell myself falling in love with singing hymns. and i was led by the Holy Spirit to sign up for the christmas combined choir. although there are times that i procrastinate of skipping, the singing sessions are always enjoyable. Now, i feel being home whenever i'm back to church. Really looking forward to next dec. cos i know my church wedding will be beautiful esp its going to hold near christmas.
emo emo emo. i'm not an opportunist so i do not make good use of opportunities which are right in front of me. i'm not the ra ra la la type who could warm up with any strangers easily. i hv to prove to my boss that i'm confident enough so that she could sent me out to the countries. i do not want to be in the office politics and yet i wan to climb higher. saying title does not matter was a lie. esp when you are sitting in regional office overseeing the areas where counterparts are more exprienced than me.
原烧 was brought to this BBQ place by my biz associate during the TW trip. i have to say, i fell in love though initally i wanted to have something light. the sweetness and tenderness of the meat completely won me over :) we ordered the set which completes with starter/ soup/ dessert and rice (i din touch the rice though). the starters - smoked duck salad/ fruit yogurt salad soups - miso/ tomato seafood their servings are big; you can taste the sweetness of the seafood soup.. whooo.. Here's the highlight of the dinner - the meat! 原燒綜合拼盤 原燒牛肉拼盤 the meats are not marnirated which allow us to taste their sweetness/ freshness. furthermore, each piece is thinly sliced which just melts in your mouth.. (i'm already drooling while typing). salt & pepper are provided to season. condiments are also provided to enhance the flavour. i prefer the 原味. ...
in my life, i have been always absent-minded & careless. i lost my farecards (then ez-link cards) countless times. the best part was, i could lost not long after topping up. i also frequently lost my coin purses. mum was indeed frustrated with me. but couldn't do anything abt it. when i grew older, i could made the slightest mistake in my calculation. i used to get frustrated with such happenings. but grew out of it as it becomes a norm. i did try to prevent or be cautious on such situations but somehow it still happen. i do still lost my stuff these days. over the last 3 wks, i lost a thumbdrive, umbrella & specs box. hee.. and when such things happen, i always say ooh shit (Ooh!屎)! this wk, 3 Ooh!屎 incidents happened: 1. forgot to amend my oof subj which reads i'm on medical leave when actually i'm on 1/2 day leave. medical leave was on last thurs. so everyone thought that i was so sick for 2 wks and i was flooded with concerns the next day which lef...

the flu virus finally found me after 2 years. yes, i currently down with a flu. having flu on me is worse than a fever or cough. i could keep on rubbing my nose till it could drop. plus the aftermath when u're trying to get the mucus out while on the road of recovery. ewww.. usually, i would not pay a visit to the doc since i wanted my immune system to fight against the virus. but, decided to go to doc for 2 reasons - i'm too tired. and MC (i told myself why do i have to go work when i'm sick. riddiculous!). well, thats all. got to rest..
have been back from TW for a wk but my soul is still there. place is beautiful. people are considerate. they went all out to help us when we lost our way. i never had to squeeze myself into the train. people are very disciplined to stand on the left when on escalator (the right of way). unlike "singaporeans" (or rather FT) like to hog the whole escalator. ktv system is superb! but food was not very much to my liking except 卤肉饭，葱油饼，麻芝， 麻辣火锅，木瓜牛奶 (u can't find such thick & tasty in singapore)，even the 台湾香肠 taste so much nicer. below is another of my fave peekture to end this post. 石梯坪
1 wk of hectic training came to an end yesterday. compared to the last module, serious biz was discussed this time round. creativity and entrepreneur skills were very much focused. hitting the bed before 12am seems impossible. the earliest i slept was 1.30am.. the next day starts at 9am again.. and now my face are full of the 后遗症 (pimples/ enlarged pores). ewww... the most interesting part was hitting the road making a video (with our most crazy ideas) from scratch & interviewing 3 entrepreneurs (incl 1 from the white collar). the video making was super taxing and it zapped out all of our energy for the of the remaining wk. that night i slept at 3.30am.. interviewing of the young entrepreneurs opens a new horizon for all of us. though we could cook up some stories, but we could not learn anything in this way. and surprisingly... people are willing to help us.. though it was an intensive week, the bonding helps us to tide through the difficult times...
Holidaying in BKK with my khakis! it has approx 2 years since my last trip. nothing much has changed. this time round, we decided to try the airport express for the 1st time. but... it wasn't express after all cos we lost our way :( the interior of the express train. very much like HKG. but i LURVE HKG airport express! the most look forward meal on day 1 - Coca steamboat. super duper cheap compared to singapore. Concidentally, Uniqlo 1st flagship store opened on that day. look at Q. we thought only singaporean has this unique hobby. random shop on the streets while figuring our way to hotel. Marriage for Alien?!? it drizzled/ rained. so got this to shelter us as our hotel was quite a distance walk from the shopping area. fave meal during the stay. it was from one of the random shophouse near our hotel. super lurve the fried egg. i named it 炸蛋 cos it was oily & crispy. 炸蛋! one of the dinners at Fuji. ...
Fave buys from BKK went BKK for a short shopping trip with the ladies a week back. had much fun. when ladies get together, the bitchy sides are surfaced. anyhow, i started already using some of stuff bought. current lurve is the mouse (my kitty went dead). Papu chan from BKK! S$15 for such a cute mouse. also to add, it not from those "japalan" brand. from Toshiba. second fave was the nail polish bought from beauty buffet. concept was very much like The face shop or skin food discovered this shop when i was there 2 years back. i was in need to find some cheap hand cream when i saw their promo on S$7+ for 2. those lasted me for 2 years (yep, just nice that i'm back again this year. but i din buy though). i got the nail polish instead which is rather cheap. 1 for 65bhat. buying 3 will even be cheaper. here's the end result! it gives a very gelish kind of feeling. my colleagues mistook as gel nails. thanks to Jo recommendation! here's the front look of the bottle...
