Random updates... finished 薔薇のない花屋 last sun. at first, i thought it was not my type of drama. was not really into those sad dramas but i gave 2 thumbs up for this. 香取慎吾 from SMAP & 竹内 結子 as the main leads. the story is about: Shiomi Eiji is forced to become a single father when his girlfriend passed away while giving birth to their daughter, Shizuku. desolate after the loss of the woman he loved, Eiji has little time or desire to even consider remarrying, working part-time jobs just to make ends meet. The one thing that gives meaning and joy to his life is Shizuku, but even that begins to trouble him when Shizuku begins acting strange, hiding her face by putting a cloth over her head when around other people. One day after opening his flower shop, Eiji comes across a blind woman standing by the door, taking shelter from the rain. When he invites her to come inside the shop, she at first refuses, but later gives in to Eiji's kindness. They become intimate friends and she slowly ...

met up with my cousins for a catching-up session. had fish & co for lunch. it has been ages since the last time i had.. should be around 2 years ago. not much shopping was done. managed to get my swimming stuff. le coq sportif shoe bag & swimming cap. we had a good laugh over my colour blindness. pink instead of cream. white instead of pink. and also managed to squeeze some time for dionne on fri. she's still the same. had a simple dinner & chilled at starbucks for updates. nowadays, i prefer chilling out with my friends. have a good talk over a cup of my fave choco & people watching. also dropped by kino & saw 恋空 vcd & dvd. i was super elated. bought the vcd instead cos i'm getting their novels too. come to think of it, i should get the dvd =( now waiting for payday. 2 恋空 & 1 死神の精度 novels.

caught Sweet Rain 死神の精度 on thurs. after the last movie, 投名状 in dec, i finally could catch 金城武 in the theaters again. i dun quite like his 照形 in the last movie. but i give 2 thumbs up for this. except for the rookie character he was playing in the 2nd story. overall, its a light hearted movie. no tearing. there's some 冷笑话 as the story progress. but i couldn't catch all of them. it's obvious that the movie was broken up into 3 parts due to the different generations (1985/ 2007/ 2028). but i would say the director did a good job linking them up. sweet rain 死神の精度 aka accuracy of death aka 死神的密秘 and not to forget to mention that there's one scene that 金城武 held 小西真奈美's hand running. i told hjp, i could die in peace if the hand he was holding was mine. wahahaha... and i'm now waiting for his upcoming 赤壁. i know it was abt ancient chinese history. but i dun really care much abt the storyline cos 金城武 is in again =) dropped by ikea with charles, yy, merv & hjp after j...

have a few number updates which i'm too lazy to post. friday's baking session turned out to a disaster. was utterly disappointed with myself. recieved my jap test results. 85/100 wasn't satisfied though due to several careless mistakes made. no longer enjoy my jap lessons. the せんせい who taught us last sem had left. the current one was not really organised in her lessons. she seems to just touch & go. and she also had forgot that this is an elementary class. writing かたがな instead of ひらがな. not to mention that she speaks chim japanese which expect us to understand but leaving us clueless instead. luckily, the watching of jap dramas helped me a little. enough of the unhappy stuff. went jb last sun. satisfy myself with another 4 pairs of heels/slip-ons from vincci. actually, had eyed a lot more but i got budget =( will get it when i went in next time. caught sky of love aka こいぞら/恋空 staring: harima miura, yui aragaki a touching movie though. did abit research on this movie, it ...

1. gelare tues was b&j free cone day. and yet i couldn't hv it cos my office is out from town =( hence settled for gelare instead. thumbs up for choco overload (my all time fave) and of course its hjp's treat =) 2. ktv @ kallang leisurepark the last time i went was when i was 17. waited 20 min for the stupid 11. situated near the sin stadium with only 1 direct bus. no wonder its so quiet. anyway, i was happy that able to see all of them after 1 mth =) caught the last bus home as i die die dun wan to take cab. 3.
